Just registered and figured I would start a newbie thread. My name is Kyle and I have a '92 240SX. I like drifting and am currently in the process of having a roll cage put into a different chassis with a cleaner body.

Now that I've seen your car, I think I met you in New Mexico for a track event taught by David Muramoto. Aren't you part of the drifting club here?

I was in New Mexico for a few events in 2007, so that is a possibility. And yes, I am a part of the drift club here (codrift.org).

Kyle I didn't know you went to Pro-Am.

Yeah, didn't do so hot though, my nerves got to me. Not to mention I didn't have a cage and wouldn't be able to tandem anyway. I figured it may be the only time I get to go, so I jumped on the opportunity. Hopefully though, I can get to the point to where I can make it to another one. It was more intense than anything else I have done.

Yea that's what I've been hearing from all the other guys that went. Really nerve racking. At least you didn't crash, right?

We're thinking of doing a jump like that at one of the PPIR events this year. There's a nice hump in the middle of the lot that if you hit just right....

That would be AWESOME!!!! Then we could set up the same course and have some fun, without the fear of slamming into the cement barriers!
