I didn't quite know where to post this.
For those that have project cars (240sx, 300zx, etc): Where is there a decent junkyard? Are there any u-pull it's?
Thanks

There are a few junk yards at 2151 W. Radcliff Ave. You can only get there from the Santa Fe frontage road south of Red and Jerry.
My experience is that they don't have newer model cars and when they do, the prices are about the same or even higher than new products. But it's still fun to walk the lot.

There is one off I-25 north, it's in Dacono just north of the Colorado Speedway.

Check the Denver yellow pages under "Automobile Parts - Used". You'll find lots of yards. Though not in Denver, I like Andersons in Greeley. They've tended to have a few more later models on occasion.

Andersons is actually just off Hiway 85. Turn east onto 8th and it's about a mile down on the right. I think they're closed on weekends though.

true true. Damnit i wish there was a way of checking without actually driving down there. If it was me even if i didnt have money i would of pulled the motor, everything i would need, and hid it somewhere in a car that wouldnt get attention but wouldnt be taken to get crushed either lol

Agreed. For the most part everything there is generally pretty old and sits in the yard for quite a while, but every once in a while something new will show up, and they charge pretty much the same. One day a wrecked 2002 Maxima SE showed up, just off the cluster, MAF, ignition coils, and some various interior pits and pieces, I made a killing. Not to mention I snagged all the injector clips for my FBJC100's.
It's pretty rare that they get something new and nice (by nice I mean, not a 2008 base model kia), but when they do you have to be on top of it because they get stripped down to nothing fast.
