I'm new. I've been on NewTiburon for a while but I decided to get on here because my girlfriend has an 08 Altima and wants to look into modding and I have a feeling I'm gonna be doing most of that, so just thought I'd pick the brains of the experts here. Plus I love going to meets and it's almost car season again so it couldn't hurt to be on a local forum. So hi guys!

Actually the Gensis wasn't out at the time. But I still like the looks of the Tib better. I just like the RWD of the genesis, and a 3.8L makes my 2.7 look like a motorcycle engine... lol

They come with 172 bhp stock... it's really nothing special. They're usually slow from the factory. Trust me, this one isn't exactly like your Dad's Tib... ;)

lol They are all 2 doors... and there's the Beta II 4 cyl or the Delta V6. No rb26 that I know of

Yeah lectrician. I used to live right near there so it was probably me. Or if it was the brighter red Tib that looks more stock, it could've been my buddy's turbo 4 cyl. But darker red + carbon fiber hood = I'm sure it was me. It'd be cool to see you guys at a meet some time but I don't think a lot of people have meets when there's still snow so I guess it'll have to wait until spring. If you guys do plan on having a local get together though on a nice day soon, count me in for sure. You guys might be able to see my gf's car and reminisce about when your nissans were that stock before

No I have the 5 speed. People who want to boost their Tiburons usually are smart enough NOT to get the 6 speeds. There would be absolutly no first gear because they just shorten the gear ratios instead of giving you an extra overdrive... :(

I ran 14.4 with a smaller blower, longer intake with smaller diameter, stock throttle body, no tuner, stock injectors, etc. etc.... Hense why I can't wait to go to Bandy this summer and see how she is now. I'm always down to meet up though so if anyone near S. Aurora has anything goin on, send me a PM and I'll give u my number.

Well today's the day. I know I can do it with a dyno because it's already so close on my street tune. I just need to be able to hold it at certain areas in the power band and check my short terms. Thanks for the advice Soosh but we can't all afford all the amazing standalone systems in our cars... lol Or get away with stealing coil packs from a Vette while the owner isn't looking! lmao j/k I'll let you know how it goes
