Mission Statement & Charter

Mission Statement:
The Colorado Nissan Owners Club (CONOC) is a club for Nissan & Infiniti enthusiasts who love their cars and want to have fun with them on mountain drives, motorsports events, car shows, and much more. We’re looking to build a Front Range community of Colorado Nissan & Infiniti owners we can all rely on for friendship and help. CONOC is looking for committed members to join our family to help build networks and a great Nissan/Infiniti club. CONOC is run by the members for the members. CONOC will also provide the best vendors the Front Range has to offer to help strengthen the Nissan/Infiniti community with discount deals and CONOC specials. We’re happy to have every single one of our members and are looking forward to building an awesome club with lasting relationships.
Club Charter:
I. Name: The name of this organization is The Colorado Nissan Owners Club (CONOC) herein referred to as CONOC.
II. Statement Of Purpose: The purpose of the organization is to:
A. Build a Front Range community of Colorado Nissan & Infiniti owners or enthusiasts.
B. Encourage friendly, supportive social interaction amongst members.
C. Organize or notify members of a variety of events they can participate in.
D. Provide a forum for the facilitation of all aspects of this club’s purpose.
E. Build a pool of trusted, quality vendors to provide CONOC discount specials to our members.
III. Club Guidelines:
A. Treat all members with care & respect; we want this to be a family of Nissan & Infiniti enthusiasts.
B. Always be on the lookout for possible new members to help grow our community.
C. Attend events you commit to, and provide constructive feedback after an event is completed.
D. Support the CONOC venders, and encourage others to do so as well.
IV. Membership: Anyone aged 16 (sixteen) and over may join CONOC who is willing to be a dedicated, active member of our club.
V. Decision-Making Structure: Although CONOC is run by the members for the members, there are to be certain individuals given administrative power over the forum at CONOC.net. Further, business owners of CONOC approved vendors are given moderator status over their vendor-specific forums.
VI. Amendments: Amendments to the CONOC charter must be agreed upon by all site administrators.
VII. Meetings: The site administrators will meet when necessary to discuss events, ideas or changes in relation to CONOC.net.
VIII. Dues: Currently CONOC is a dues-free organization, and run only by member donations to pay for the hosting and bandwidth of CONOC.net.
IX. Disclaimer: CONOC does not condone street racing or any other illegal activity, please don’t give our club a bad image by participating in illegal activities.
