Well I just picked up a 2010 Maxima today. Needed to replace my fiance's aging Blazer after a bear broke into it and gutted the interior. So yeah, officially a Nissan owner again.

What trim / options?

Did the bear come down into the springs or do you live in the mountains?

Yes pictures soon. On the bear issue...was in the broadmoor resort in cheyenne cayon. So still in the springs, but lots of wildlife in this area. So I guess yes on both accounts o_O

the dealership tried really hard to put me in a maxima when i was taking in the z. congrats i love the way they look and i bet its really fast =)

Will know Monday the status of the lotus. I have a feeling it will be a total loss though. Once I get that check I'll go shop for a new toy. Surfing from my phone right now, still haven't setup internet at the new place. Just moved to Denver this week.

Congrats on the Maxima and sorry to hear about the Lotus. The Max is quite an upgrade from a Blazer!

+1, they keep catching my eye more and more as well. How is the CVT? Did you get the paddle shifters?

No manual option typically kills a car for me, but I'm yet to drive something with modern paddle shifters.

+1 for pics and the story on the Lotus...

Pics as requested. Pretty much a base Maxima, wanted cloth seats. Going to pick up a fog light kit, intake, just got tinted today, lost the chrome rims.

Still waiting to hear back from the insurance company but the Lotus is essentially totaled.

Nice looking Max and being a base model means great value as well.
