This morning on my way to work on C-470 heading from 285 to I-70 I spotted and eventually caught up with a red 350z with a spoiler. When I caught up to him, he looked over at me, and I waved. Please tell me it was one of you guys!!! I feel like a total tool waving at random guys in Zs!! I did have my conoc sticker on my subie, so hopefully they saw that! Here's a pic I was able to get! :)

I think one guy on here has a NISMO Z, change your thread title to include NISMO and you may have better luck finding him.

i know the guy, he lives in thornton i believe. we've actually met up at SONIC'S in Green Mtn on Sundays. he's a nice guy. next time i see him, i'll give him a CONOC card....!

There's also a red Nismo 350Z that lives near chatfield & wadsworth. I carded him last week, but haven't seen a post.

It's very possible that was him since the route sounds right! Hope to see him on here! (Mostly so I can explain why I waved at him that morning!)

Saw this same one again on my way to work this morning! Same route - C470 towards Golden, then he turned onto I-70 East. Got a closer look, it's an 07-08. Anyone know this guy? (it's kinda hard to pass a card at 70MPH!)

It should'nt be that hard, there are only about 1500 of them here in the US and about 25 in colorado. :D

There's actually just over 1600 made for the US... But they're a thing of beauty. All nissan are!!!!

Really? I thought they were going to cut production at 1500. oh well I can't really complain. Beautiful is correct!

They made a total of 1609. 7 of which were sent to Guam.
Did you figure out the eratic reving problem you were having?

Not yet, I actually took my car to GO104th Nissan to get worked on. I had a bad experience with Empire a while ago. I got pulled over minutes after picking my car up from a scheduled maintenece stop. The officer said they had gotten reports from people of a red 350z with a square wing speeding and racing on colfax. I got off by showing them the invoice that i had just picked it up. I guess who ever test drove it after it was done really got into it and had some fun. When I confronted them about it they all denied it and no one even confessed who test drove it. Anyway, one of my friends just started working at 104th and asked me to bring it by. I have an extended warranty so we'll see what they turn up.
Sorry, kinda off topic. I had problem with my car was taken for a tire burn while it was in the dealer's hands. Of course nobody would admit it. Since then, I bought one of these and plug it in the OBD port whenever the car goes in for service anywhere. In your case, it may have a record of the time of the test drive and how the car was driven.
