I think a good place for the BBQ would be Central Park in the new Denver Stapleton development area. It's a nice park in a nice neighborhood. There is plenty of parking a big track for you joggers. It's off Martin Luther King and Central Park Blvd. The fastest way to get there is take I-70 to Quebec, drive south and take that to MLK Blvd then drive east.
